We're thrilled to announce the upcoming schedule for our Paddle Safer Provider Moderation sessions. These sessions are essential for all providers who wish to continue delivering the Paddle Safer course. Our records indicate that you became a Paddle Safer Provider in 2022, if you would like to continue offering this valuable course, you will need to attend a Moderation in 2025.
Following the sentencing of a paddleboard business owner to 10 years and 6 months for gross negligence manslaughter of four people, it is crucial that we remind everyone of the lessons learned from the circumstances leading to this tragic and avoidable incident and the responsibilities we all have when deploying and leading others during paddling sessions.
Paddle UK is seeking a dynamic and experienced Safety Lead to champion and elevate safety standards across the organisation, and the wider paddling community. This is a unique opportunity to shape best practice, influence policy, and ultimately, ensure the safe enjoyment of paddlesports for all.
