Paddleboard Adventures from a Unique Canal-Side Base. Discover the tranquillity of the Monmouthshire and Brecon Canal with Bridge 76 Adventures, offering stand-up paddleboard (SUP) hire in the heart of Bannau Brycheiniog (Brecon Beacons) National Park. Located near Llanover, this peaceful stretch of canal provides an ideal setting for both beginners and seasoned paddlers to enjoy the serene beauty of the Welsh countryside.

The Cadet Centre for Adventurous Training (CCAT) delivers Adventurous Training qualifications and skill-based experience courses for Cadet Force Adult Volunteers (CFAVs) and Cadets aged 15+ from the Army Cadets. We offer a wide range of challenging, inspiring, and progressive courses, all safely managed, at levels ranging from Basic to Intermediate skills, up to Leader and Instructor qualifications.  These courses follow the Army Cadets Adventurous Training (ACAT) and National Governing Body (NGB) accredited schemes.

Services:

A fantastic opportunity for you to become an independent paddler in your own boat. Our sessions are a mixture of journeys around the estuary, playing games, learning skills, and there is always the possibility of getting wet! We will tailor a session that suits your aims and the needs of your group members.

Our friendly instructors will help you get started if you have never kayaked before! We have a variety of boats to choose from, and our experienced instructors will choose the best type of kayak for you and the conditions. We have both sit-on-top kayaks and closed cockpit kayaks, as well as duo sit-on-tops, which include paddlers who may need some extra support through paddling in a team.

Based on the water’s edge of the beautiful and historic Amlwch Port in Anglesey, North Wales, Eila has spent the last 12 years as a professional coach and leader in the wildlife-rich tidal waters surrounding the stunning coast of Anglesey. An experienced and fully qualified international sea kayak leader, coach and National Trainer with an exemplary safety record. Our base is right on the harbour’s edge, where we can explore the NE coast. Perfectly located whether you seek some sheltered water paddling or the more adrenalin pumping tidal races. It’s all on our doorstep.

The Wye Valley is Canoe and Kayak Country! Forest Adventure paddle the most scenic stretches of the river, from placid water to turbulent rapids. Your instructor will brief you on kayak/canoe control, and safety procedures. Forest Adventure provides half or full-day guided trips. Barrells and lunches can be provided upon request. You will be taught flat water skills and moving water techniques, all combined with a lot of fun and games! Maybe train towards your progressive courses - a national award system accredited by the British Canoe Union.

We are a family-orientated and friendly club located at the picturesque Thurlby Lake near Witham St Hughs. Our emphasis is on getting you out on the water in whatever form, be it canoeing, kayaking or standup paddle boarding. You will always find an enthusiastic and friendly club member at the lake, along with plenty of hire kit available to get you started. No matter what your skill level, when you first visit us, we will help you advance in any way we can.

Our purpose-built Activity Centre specialises in tuition and equipment hire. You may also bring your own kit and pay to launch your craft. Our season runs from March to the end of October to protect our overwintering birds. We offer canoeing, kayaking, paddleboarding and katakanuing, as well as sailing, windsurfing, pedal boarding, archery, axe throwing, laser clay shooting and orienteering. Conditions are perfect with clean water and no currents or tides. Here you will find changing rooms with hot showers and a place to refuel and recharge in our Visitor Centre café just along the path. Llys-y-frân is set in a beautiful location, in the foothills of the Preseli Mountains. Free to enter and open all year round, there’s plenty to do for all ages and abilities. Family Friendly Little Boating Adventures in Pembrokeshire, Wales. The upper reaches of the Daugleddau estuary are a truly special and rarely visited part of the National Park. Pendine OEC provides outdoor adventure, recreation & education services on behalf of Carmarthenshire County Council. We have developed a repertoire of activities and experiences that utilise our easy access to Carmarthen Bay and locations across the county where we can offer a range of Paddle Sport options.

SKUK Adventures, operated by Brothers Craig and Stuart Leslie, has partnered with Sea Kayaking UK (formerly Nigel Dennis Kayaks). While SKUK Adventures is a new name, Sea Kayaking UK has been offering courses from its base for over 35 years. After a brief pause in service, we're excited to resume in 2025.

I am a freelance canoeing, kayaking and hillwalking instructor and guide based in the Brecon Beacons National Park.

SUP HIKE EXPLORE started out as a personal challenge for founder Kris, with the aim being to see how he could combine a love for the mountains with an ISUP and to show that SUP really is an all-year-round sport.

Most notably, Kris has summited then paddled the lakes on not only the highest peaks in Wales (Pen-y-Fan, Cader Idris and Snowdon) but the UK too, adding Ben Nevis and Helvellyn to the list. Whilst Kris loves to travel and explore new places, his regular escapes are within South Wales, usually within the Brecon Beacons National Park, Cardiff and The Coast.

We will take you through the skills, knowledge, and safety that you need to know to get you started on your paddleboarding journey with us.
